PURPOSE:To instantaneously recover the balance of differet pressures in two fluid chambers by mounting a piston which contains a preloaded spring, inside a cylinder mounted in a dividing wall which separates said two fluid chambers from each othe and forming in the piston, a communication hole which provides communication between two fluid chambers. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 4 is mounted in a dividing wall 3 which separates a high pressure bearing chamber 1 from a low back, pressure chamber 2 and a piston 5 which contains a preloaded spring 6 is slidably inserted in the cylider 4 so as to support a bearing pad 7 which holds a shaft 8. The preloaded spring 6 is supported by a support base 9 of a back pressure chamber 2, which is communicated with the atmosphere by a piping 11 having a valve 10. The piston 5 has a communiction hole 12 which communicates the bearing chamber 1 and the back pressure chamber 2 with each other. And hence, when the valve 10 of the piping 11 which is communicated with the back pressure chamber 2 is closed, fluid quickly runs from the high pressure bearing chamber 1 into the low back pressure chamber 2 via the communication hole 12 to instantaneously recover the balance of the pressures in both the chambers 1 and 2. |
