The invention relates to a tool for working stone, with cutting or grinding elements of diamond or boron nitride attached to a support, the body of the support consisting of rubber. The invention further encompasses a method for producing such a tool, in which cutting or grinding elements are locked in a compression mould and vulcanised in a raw rubber blend.
