A safety device for gas connection lines (3), in particular for movable, portable rooms, such as motor homes, caravans and the like, provides a solenoid shut-off valve (5) between a gas container provided outside these rooms and at least one consumer point accommodated in an inner room, which solenoid shut-off valve (5) is fitted close to the gas container into the connection line (3) and can be operated via an electric circuit (35) by a remote switch (36) arranged in the inner room. So that the remote-control magnetic shut-off valve (5) can be fitted in already existing gas installations, and the existing connection line (3) can be attached again directly to the gas container or its connection fitting (1) without further aids after the magnetic shut-off valve is dismounted, the magnetic valve (5) is provided at its connection points with coupling members (8, 17) matching the coupling parts at the connection fitting (1) and the connection line (3), the coupling parts which belong to one another being of identical design. <IMAGE> |
