PURPOSE:To attain high sensitivity and low power consumption, by providing a light supplying device using a light transmission type display and a half prism so as to miniaturize the finder and to make the weight light. CONSTITUTION:A moving half prism 6 is positioned as shown in broken lines at the normal photographing. The light reflected upward on the half prism 6 among the incident lights from a photographing lens 1, and reaches a photographer via a full reflection mirror 7, the light transmission type display 8 and an objective lens 9, and on the other hand, the light going straight through the half prism 6 form its image on a photographing element 4. At the reproduction of a recorded picture or with the incident light given insufficiently, the moving half prism 6 is shifted to a position where a light from a light supplying device 10 made of ground glass is received. In this case, a light transmission type display 8 such as liquid crystal is driven with an output signal of a video recording signal or an output signal of the photographing element 4 so as to function like an electronic finder. Further, the light supplying device can be constituted from a photo-elastic material. |
