PURPOSE:To perform the abrasion test of footwear and the like under the actual walking or running conditions, by moving the sample, on which a load is applied, up and down, intermittently contacting the sample with the contact surface, and relatively moving the sample. CONSTITUTION:A holder 2 is lifted and a sample 1 is mounted. A motor 19 is driven and a contact surface 15 is rotated and moved. A motor 12 is driven and a moving cam 8 is rotated. Then a fixing pin 24 is removed, a static cam 21 is turned by a half, and the contact with a cam pin 7 is separated. Then the cam pin 7 is contacted with the moving cam 8, and a load receiving shaft 4 is moved up and down. Then the sample 1 is intermittently contacted with the contact surface 15. In this way, the sample 1 repeats the intermittent contacts with the contact surface 15, which is rotated and moved under the application of a load 3. After the contact for a specified time period, the amount of abrasion of the sample 1 is measured by a volume, and the test is completed. |
