PURPOSE:To obtain a recorder capable of preventing the staining of a platen with ink and the occurrence of uneven surface and also of performing good heat- transfer recording for a long period of time by a simplified constitution in which the platen is made up of a releasing elastic material, e.g., silicon rubber, fluoro rubber, etc. CONSTITUTION:A platen 4 is made up of an elastic material showing good releasing property when a heat-transfer ribbon 6 consisting of a polyethylene wax-based ink and a polyester film-based base plate is heated, e.g., silicon rubber, fluoro rubber, etc. The elastic material covered with an outer skin of polyester film or fluoro resin film may be used. In case where the other types of waxes are used, the surface of the elastic material may be covered with a substance having good releasing property to the wax used. |
