<p>PURPOSE:To increase the effective storage gas quantity of a high pressure gas holder by providing an expandable or shrinkable balloon-like bag in the gas holder and injecting water, etc. into the bag when the gas pressure in the holder is lowered as the gas is consumed. CONSTITUTION:If a cut-off valve 5 is opened and a large quantity of oxygen is consumed when a converter 6 is started blasting, a control unit 12 gives commands to valves 13, 14, 15 based on signals of the cut-off valve 5, a gas pressure detector 10, and a water pressure detector 11. As a result, the valves 13, 15 are closed and the valve 14 is opened, and the flow destination of the discharge water of a pump 8 is transferred from a tank 9 to a bag 7. Then, a decrease of the gas pressure in a holder 3 due to the consumption of gas is compensated by the expansion of the bag 7 because water is fed under pressure into the bag 7, thereby the effective storage gas quantity of the high pressure gas holder can be increased.</p> |
