PURPOSE:To stabilize the proper use of mixed fuel by controlling the amount of feed of reformed gas in proportion to and that of gasoline in inverse proportion to the variation of the pressure of reformed gas, in an engine which uses gasoline and alcohol-reformed gas. CONSTITUTION:Alcohol-blended gasoline in a fuel tank 8 is supplied into a reformer 4 by a fuel pump 6, and converted intl the gaseous fuel consisting of gaseous gasoline and hydrogen-containing reformed gas. Said gaseous fuel is supplied into a heat-exchanger 5 and cooled, and separated into liquid gasoline and reformed gas, and said liquid gasoline is supplied into a carburetor 13, and said reformed gas is supplied into a mixer 11, and the both substances are sent into an engine 1. In this case, the pressure in a gas chamber 16 in which reformed gas is allowed to stay is detected by a pressure detector 17, and the opening degree of a reformed-gas flow-rate control valve 14 is increased through a control circuit 18, on the basis of the output of the pressure detector 17, as the reformed-gas pressure increases, and the opening degree of a gasoline flow- rate control valve 15 is reduced. |
