Design principle Simple and convenient handling as well as a discharging device for the end products. The lower stable frame ensures secure placement on a container, in order that plunger and pressing lever can be operated by one hand. The hinged front wall serves after pressing as a discharging device for the end product. The press remains in the starting position during the entire filling operation Fig. 1 as well as during pressing Fig. 2 and during the removal operation Fig. 3. Production of a paper briquette: Old paper which absorbs water well is suitable for producing the paper briquettes. The paper is laid in water and left well-soaked for about 8-12 hours. The pulp thus produced is charged into the filling hopper of the press. The pressing lever with the plunger is put in place and pressed down slightly (with the hand), in order that the water can run out. The pressure causes the paper pulp to form into a bale. By swinging down the front filling box wall, the briquette bale is effortlessly removed. The still moist briquettes are laid out to dry in a well-ventilated place or in a heating cellar. Drying time, depending on consistency, possibility of ventilation and size of stack, 2-4 weeks. <IMAGE>
