The subject of the additional invention is an air funnel, especially for the control of fuel-air mixtures with increased sealing between the plates, in order to prevent undesirable secondary flows. In addition an adjusting device is disclosed, which controls the air rate of flow and mixing ratio by way of a governor system, which obtains its control pulses from the variable pressure gradient of the additional air which is added to the fuel in the nozzle pipe. As exemplary embodiment an adjusting device moved by eccentric cams is shown which can be accommodated in the base of the air filter housing. This adjusting system always automatically adjusts to give an air excess in the event of fuel enrichment in the case of necessity. <IMAGE>
