In motorcycle handlebars having a grip component and a clamping fitting with which the handlebars can be attached to one half of the motorcycle fork, the shaft end which connects the grip component to the clamp fitting is releasably connected to the grip component. A screw which is guided through the shaft end is screwed into a threaded bore of a clamping element which is arranged inside the grip component and at the same time guided through an elongate hole of the grip component. In this way, the grip component can be displaced axially in relation to the shaft end and it is also possible to arrange the clamp fitting at various positions in relation to the grip component.
