The screw connection consists of a bolt part (Bt), provided with an external thread, and of a nut part, provided with an internal thread. Quick tightening of the screw connection is facilitated by the bolt part (Bt) being provided with two mutually parallel flats (A) and by the nut part being provided with two mutually opposite internal grooves, running in the axial direction, the width of the internal grooves being larger than the distance (a) between the flats (A) and the depth of the internal grooves being larger than the thread depth of the internal thread. The screw connection can then be tightened by pushing the bolt part (Bt) and the nut part axially one inside the other and subsequently twisting them, and is subsequently released in a corresponding manner by twisting and pulling them apart axially. Screw connections designed according to the invention can be used, for example, for the clamping of milling tools with the aid of clamping screws or clamping nuts. <IMAGE>
