PURPOSE:To ensure a sufficient length of an exhaust pipe for improving output performance by constituting the exhaust pipe connected to the rear cylinder in a logitudinal V-type internal combustion engine from a single pipe and a double pipe extending through the side surface of a rear cylinder block and bent rearward. CONSTITUTION:In a V-type internal combustion engine, an exhaust pipe 8f connected to an exhaust port 4f in a front cylinder block 1f is provided to extend downward through the front surface of the block 1f and bend rearward as well as conventional one. On the other hand, an exhaust pipe 8r connected to an exhaust port 4r in a rear cylinder block 1r is provided to bend from the back of the block 1r toward the left side surface, extend obliquely downward through the left side surface and then bend backward. This exhaust pipe 8r is constituted from a single pipe 11 provided in the upper area on the way of the left side surface of the block 1r from an opening of the exhaust port 4r and a double pipe 12 provided in the lower area between the terminal of said single pipe and a muffler 10, and a style strip 15 is mounted on the single pipe 11. |
