The invention relates to a shutter for a reflex camera. It is a further development of the application P2733174.4 of the same inventor. The invention describes a shutter which permits high shutter speeds, is very sturdy and has a long service life, operates without batteries, and is intended to possess a stabilised shutter speed. The manner of achieving the object is characterised in that a magnet (11) is screwed in at the end of the tube (1), which magnet attracts a piston made of iron. A further stabilisation is created by the membrane (10), which possesses an aperture (36), into which the tip of the adjusting screw (5) penetrates. If the tensioning spring (7) becomes slack, the dynamic pressure is reduced, the curvature of the membrane becomes weaker and the air is expelled more rapidly. As the piston runs down, a retarding suction is created, which is controlled by a regulating spring (6) and a regulating disc (9), which sit movably on the rod (12), in that an air aperture is altered. Upon release, the wheel (15), which sits on a rotatable pivot lever (14), presses against the running surface (37) of a mounted plate (16), which opens the two shutter segments (18). <IMAGE>
