In a method for intermediate storage and metered removal of preferably agricultural bulk products which are stored in piles on a storage area and from which layers or sections are continuously separated and conveyed further, for example, on conveying equipment or the like, provision is made for these piles (7) to be piled up loosely, for example in a storage container (1), silo or the like, and for the separation of the layers or sections to take place in each case from the underside (7a) of the pile (7) of the goods.
