Universal woodworking machine with multiple operations on work tables via sub-assemblies with electric motors, drives and tools for surface planing and thicknessing, sawing and routing, equipped with a light, small-sized frame formed from two housings - a fixed housing and a housing which can be shifted around a perpendicular, common connecting axis - the drives and their motors also being arranged in such a way as to be balanced as low as possible about the perpendicular axis of the machine mass point; with the common work table for circular saw routing cutters and a further table coplanar thereto and arranged at the extreme level of the two-piece work table during surface planing; with a single fixture for the rectilinear guidance and alignment of the material on the complete work table thus resulting; with an automatic coupling and uncoupling mechanism for thicknessing feed; improved vertical-adjustment mechanisms of the thicknessing table, the circular saw and the routing cutter, and a small, movable table for performing operations with rotatable tools, clamped in the end of the cutter shaft, including the locking devices of the tools in the set position.
