PURPOSE:To execute forming without generating a working flaw on the inside surface of a curved part, and to prevent a belt from being damaged by reducing a deformation amount due to a die, when forming a long circular link. CONSTITUTION:A rod-like link base material bridged on a die is formed to a U-shaped curved base material (b). The U-shaped curved base material (b) obtained by the first process is supported by a linear piece of its lower side, is made to rise perpendicularly and is supported so that a bent piece of both its sides is projected to the upper face of the die, the tip of both side bent piece of the base material (b) is caught and curved to the inside by the punch, and it is formed to a triangular curved base material C in which both end parts of the bent piece contact with each other. In the third process, the triangular curved base material C obtained by the second process is held perpendicularly, and a long circular link (d) for inserting a seat belt, whose upper side and lower side are parallel and whose both ends are curved is formed by pressure of the punch. |
