PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform highly accurate measurement of weight without corroding the consitutent members of a weight measuring mechanism, by separating the paths of a carrier gas, a reacting gas and a gas which is evaporated and yielded in a sample container, from an atmosphere in the weight measuring mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A sample container 33 is enclosed in a heating furnace 39. Said sample container 33 is mounted on a load cell 31 through a linking rod 42 or suspended from a balance 32 through a suspending wire 43. When a sample 40 is analyzed, a flow rate regulating valve 47 is regulated with a flowmeter 46 being observed, and a carrier gas or a reacting gas is introduced into a sample container through a gas introducing pipe 34. When the heating furnace 39 is heated at a constant speed under this state, the sample 40 is decomposed or evaporated by the heating, or reacted with the introduced reacting gas. As a result, the gas yielded in the sample container is introduced into a gas composition analyzer 48 through a gas exhaust port 37 and a gas exhaust pipe 35. At the same time, the change in weight of the material is measured by the weight measuring mechanism 31 or 32. |
