A device (31) for regulating the working depth of a mounted plough (15), allowing a combined slip and depth regulation, is proposed. A measurement transmitter (35) on a supporting-wheel arrangement (21) forms a position-dependent control variable for the depth regulation, whilst speed transmitters (33, 37) assigned to the sliplessly rotating supporting wheel (17) and the slipping rear wheel (38) of the tractor (10) and located in an electrical control unit (28) produce a slip signal which, when a predetermined desired slip value is exceeded, cuts off the position-dependent working-depth regulation and leads to a slip regulation, in which the slip is reduced by lifting the mounted plough (15). The device (31) of simple construction allows a constant working depth and prevents excessively high slip on the rear wheel (38) of the tractor (10). Changes of working depth during the slip regulation which are caused by the tractor travelling uphill or downhill are compensated by the superposed signals from an inclination sensor.
