The invention relates to a centrally controlled change-over device having a multiplicity of relay-switched electric change-over switching points, arranged on change-over modules (UMB), for changing over lines and wires in telecommunication exchanges. To avoid an interfering influence of a faulty unit on the entire change-over device, the bus system for the transmission of information items between the central processor St and the individual change-over modules (UMB) is subdivided in the form of a Christmas tree into several planes which are separated from one another by bus adaptor circuits (BAZ, BASch, BAU) which receive, clean up, amplify and forward the information items to be transmitted. <IMAGE>
