<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly and reliably perform a bottom plate driving operation by starting the operation of a driving source before the connection of a power transmission device for driving the bottom plate of a receptacle. CONSTITUTION:When a cover 5 is opened to place paper on the bottom plate of a cassette 1 and the cover 5 is closed, a slider 9 is pushed at the trailing end thereof by a roller 8 to advance against a spring 10 and project over a little a notch portion 1-6 of a receptacle, and a roller 61 is pushed up by a spring cam 11 mounted on the forward end of the slider to turn a level 60 counter-clockwise against a spring 64. Whereupon, a tongue piece 63 actuates a micro-switch 70 to start the rotation of a motor 81. When the level 60 is further turned, a sector gear 52 and a gear 85 start to engage with each other. Since the motor 81 is already in the state of rotation at this time, the gears 52 and 85 are brought into contact with each other at each addendum thereof and immediately engaged with each other, so that a lifter 51 starts to rotate with a shaft 50 at that point to raise a bottom plate 2, whereby the upper surface of paper on the bottom plate 2 is brought into contact with a paper feed roller.</p> |
