PURPOSE:To produce easily the pulverized powder of metal or metallic oxide contg. no impurities by irradiating laser light to the oxide scale on a metallic surface and suspending the evaporated or molten scale as solid particles. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate 2 on which oxide scale 1 is deposited is moved in an arrow direction and a valve 8 is opened to eject 6 the auxiliary gas (the gaseous mixture of Ar and H2 in bombs 10, 10) at the flow rate adjusted with an adjusting valve 9. The auxiliary gas is released from a space 11 to the atmosphere through the 1st and the 2nd capturing devices 14, 15 by the operation of an exhauster 16. The laser light 3 introduced into a duct 4 in this state is restricted to prescribed laser light by a lens 5 and irradiates the scale 1 depositing on the plate 2. The scale 1 which is heated momentarily to a high temp. and is thereby evaporated or melted is suspended in the space 11 by the jet of the auxiliary gas. The fine solid particles are captured of the greater part in the device 14 by the suction effect of the exhauster 16 and the rest are captured in the device 15. In other words, the scale 1 is captured as the metallic powder released of oxygen. |
