<p>PURPOSE:To sense the number of transcript sheets loaded, by sensing the position of a heaving plate, which has different initial lift position according to the type of the transcript paper placed thereupon. CONSTITUTION:On the front wall 1a of the body 1 is installed a variable resistor Rx, whose resistance value is changed by a metal pointer 3a mounted at the tip of a heaving plate 3. In order to press the transcript sheets 4 up to the stastionary paper feed roller 5, this heaving plate 3 rises with decreasing number of sheets loaded, but its initial position immediately after loading the boundle of sheets 4 is determined by the type of sheets. Therefore, sensing of this initial position of heaving plate 3 will inform decisively which kind of transcript paper is being used and also how much sheets is loaded.</p> |
