<p>PURPOSE:To have stable sheet feeding, even in case an interference occurs within the moving range of a sheet feed mechanism, by allowing a separating nail member to temporarily escape out of this moving range through the action of elasticity having the nail itself and thereby avoiding permanent deformation. CONSTITUTION:When a jam arises in the neighborhood of a separating nail member 30, the nail member 30 does not sink sufficiently to come out of the moving range of a feed mechanism, and even though removal of this mechanism may cause with its part a contact with the nail member 30, presence of an elastic member 30c connecting the nail member's basis 30a with the separating nail 30b will allow the nail member 30 to deform elastically to bring about relief from the contacting condition. According to such a relief, the separating nail member 30 and nail 30b are free from risk of permanent deformantion, so that increase of unstability in sheets feeding owing to local deformation of the separating nail 30b can be prevented easily and uncostly.</p> |
