PURPOSE:To simplify a speed increasing operation, by providing a timing circuit which is operated for a prescribed time in response to an operation of a resuming switch, and an acceleration signal generating circuit for generating an acceleration signal when time exceeds the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:When a resuming switch SW2 is closed, a timer of an acceleration signal generating circuit 90 provided with a timing circuit is operated. In case when a closed time of this switch SW2 is shorter than a set a time of the timing circuit, a vehicle speed is reset to a speed before its release. Also, in case of exceeding the set time, the circuit 90 generates an acceleration signal. When this acceleration signal of an L level is generated, an output of a comparator CM becomes an H level, a control solenoid SL1 of an actuator 50 is turned on, opening of a throttle becomes large and the speed is accelerated. This acceleration is continued while the switch SW2 is closed, and at the point of time when the speed reaches a desired speed, the switch SW2 is opened, by which a vehicle is shifted to constant speed running. |
