PURPOSE:To prevent the wear of surface between a magnetic tape and a magnetic head, by providing a thin insulated film to the contact surface between the tape and the head. CONSTITUTION:A thin insulated film 2 is provided between a magnetic head 1 and a magnetic tape 3 in order to reduce the direct wear between the head 1 and the tape 3. Furthermore, the frictional flaws of both tape 3 and head 1 can be eliminated to each other. At the same time, the stain of the head 1 can be reduced since the head is covered with the film 2 while it is used. |
