To save space in e.g. a TV receiver an insulating substrate 1 (mounting plate), carrying on one face the socket 56 receiving the base contacts of a CRT, carries on the other face circuit elements including a film resistor strip 2-6, one part 3 of which forms the track of a variable potentiometer providing focus voltage, the strip being connected between a rectified flyback pulse HV supply 13 and ground 12. The tap 7 of the potentiometer 47 is connected via through-hole 14 to the focus socket- contact. The ground line 12 may also be connected to a safety spark gap on each socket terminal. A second lower voltage segment 5 of the film resistor may provide a variable screen grid voltage for the CRT via potentiometer 50 having tap 10. <IMAGE> |
