ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN MIRROR DEVICE

PURPOSE:To aim at rapid return of a mirror to an original position, by setting an original position of the mirror by a control means for returning a mirror body to the original position at an operational limit point nearest to a usually imployed region when the mirror body is rotated to a predetermined absolute position. CONSTITUTION:It is possible to selectively use a manual mode for setting a mirror angle at a desired angle by operation of a manual switch 51, and a preset return mode for setting a mirror angle by channel switches 53-56 on the basis of individual data stored in each memory channel in a microcomputer 36. There is provided an original position return control means for coinciding content of a present position memory with a practical mirror position according to outputs from limit switches 16 and 23 which are operated when each switch 53-56 is operated to rotate the mirror body to a predetermined absolute position. An original position of the mirror is set at an operational limit point nearest to a usually employed region in the mirror movable range.
