PURPOSE:To improve work efficiency and reduce working area, by mounting a truck having a clutch on a rail equipped with a drive device, and providing a lift table at right angles to the rail at both ends of the rail. CONSTITUTION:In checking and servicing of a vehicle, the vehicle to be checked and serviced is self-propelledly mounted on a lift table 3 in a lower position arranged on the side of a rail 1, and then the lift table 3 is lifted to the height of the rail 1. Then, the vehicle is self-propelledly advanced to a position above the rail 1, and is stopped at the position. A cushion 6 of a truck 4 is applied to a body of the vehicle at four positions, and then the lift table 3 is lowered to mount the vehicle on the rail 1. Under such condition, a clutch lever 9 is operated by a worker to engage a saw-tooth surface at a lower portion of a clutch 7 with a drive chain through an eccentric cam 10. With this operation, the vehicle is moved by rotation of the chain 2, and is fed to a certain working place. |
