PURPOSE:To aim at the compactification of a device as well as the facilitation of inspection and repairs, by constituting a driving device, driving and turning a turntable, of a unit construction consisting of a driving motor and a planetary gear mechanism, in case of such a device that sets a tire to a wheel and vice versa. CONSTITUTION:A tire detachable device comprises a turntable 1 for wheel locking use to be mounted and secured to the upside of a device body 4 and a driving device 3 to drive and turn round this turntable 1. The turntable 1 is provided with a chuck device 8 consisting of plural chuck jaws reciprocated in an almost radial direction by action of a cylinder 10 for chucking and locking the wheel. In this case, the driving device 3 is made up of installing solidly a driving motor 28 as a driving source and a planetary gear mechanism to be coupled with the output shaft of the motor 28 together on the same axis. This driving device 3, as being uninserted from a insertion hole 45, is secured tight to an adapter plate 46 installed to close this insertion hole 45 in a state of being suspensibly held via a housing 35. |
