PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of unnecessary electromagnetic waves onto an image forming plane and improve the picture quality, by installing a light transmitting type conductive optical member to the front of a photoelectric converging image pickup means arranged to the image forming plane of a television camera. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitted through a photographing lens 3 inside a lens barrel 2 installed to the front of a television camera 1 strikes a photo conductive film 6a installed to the inner surface of a signal electrode 6. The photo conductive film 6a is charged electrostatically with electricity proportional to the quantity of light and read out by an electron beam from a cathode. A light transmitting type conductive optical member is arranged to the front of the signal electrode 6, namely, between an image pickup tube 4 and the photographing lens 3, and unnecessary electromagnetic waves which passed through the photographing lens 3 and the lens barrel 2 are almost completely shielded. Therefore, noises caused by unnecessary electromagnetic waves are removed. |
