PURPOSE:To form a recording pattern which is reproduced by a two-rotary head type VTR by setting an angle interval alpha so that when a wind angle theta is (N'+0.5), a time difference (m+0.5)T is generated. CONSTITUTION:One rotary head 5A records a recording signal on a magnetic tape 7 for a period 262.5T from the 1st horizontal section in a field. The other rotary head 5B records a recording signal for a period 262.5T from the latter half of the 317th horizontal section in the field FB. Those recording signals are video signals corresponding to effective screens. When neither of the rotary heads 7A and 7B has an offset, the delay (-1T) of the rotary head 5B of a recording device to the rotary head 5A is not considered. However, the rotary head 7B is arranged at a position leading the 180 deg. angle interval position by the time difference 0.5T, so a normal playback signal free of the pass jump of a horizontal synchronizing signal is obtained. |
