<p>A ribbon tape for a sliding clasp closure comprises a woven ribbon with a long coupling element woven into its lengthwise edge. The coupling element has first and second connecting parts which engage laterally spaced loops or hooks. Each of the first connecting parts extends between a first pair of adjacent branches of the loops or hooks, which are disposed on one side of the ribbon. Each of the second connecting parts extends between a second pair of adjacent branches of the hooks, and are located on the other side of the ribbon. The first and second connecting parts are offset in relation to each other.</p> |
