PURPOSE:To sense variation in concentration by waterproofing a light emitting diode and a photodiode opposite to each other and putting them in liquid, and converting the transmission amount of light into the quantity of electricity and imposing amplification, detection, and integral wave type shaping. CONSTITUTION:The light emitting diode 4 and photodiode 3 are replaced in position with each other to sense the concentration of even a translucent body. Liquid for reference concentration is prepared. The light emitting diode 4 and photodiode 3 are fitted to a main body formed by die casting, waterproofed, and put in the reference concentration liquid, and the concentration is set by a volume control. The level sensitivity volume control is rotated to select any concentration (except transparent body) and turbidity sensitivity freely and this is used for many purposes. The light source of the method of manufacturing the optional concentration liquid by the light emitting diode and photodiode (semiconductor element) is a semiconductor which uses P-N junction (gallium and arsenic), (gallium, arsenic, and phosphorus), or (gallium and phosphorus) as crystal material. |
