PURPOSE:To attain the next reproduction near the recorded recording section, by shifting a head in the track direction by a prescribed distance when missing a reproducing signal from the head for prescribed period is detected, and making the head wait near the final track position. CONSTITUTION:When the recording is interrupted after being recorded up to a point A, no RF signal is detected even if the mode is changed over to the reproducing mode at the point A. That is, there exists no RF signal for a prescribed period T1, from the point A to a point B, a jumping pulse is generated at the point B and the spot position is skipped to one track just this side of tracks. When the RF signal is missing, an output of a monostable multivibrator MMV3 goes to low for the time t1 and an output of the MMV4 goes to High for t2(t2<t1). A relay 5 is closed after the time t2 with the output of the MMV4 and if no RF signal exists after the time t2, an output is produced in the NOR gate 6, an FF7 is triggered to form a pulse signal of a prescribed time and the reading spot location is skipped to the track this side. |
