PURPOSE:To prevent a wiper apparatus from being restrained by the fallen snow and secure good forward visual-field by switching the sweeping angle of a wiper arm by forming the bearing of a drive shaft and a can in slidable contact with said bearing, into integral form or separate form, by selectively using a connecting means. CONSTITUTION:A crank arm 4 is tightened onto a drive shaft 7 by a nut 9, and a stay 2 is installed onto the other edge of the arm 4. A crank pin 1 is connected onto the stay 2, and a boss 4b is installed at a position separated by DELTAE from the center of the pin 1. On a cam 6 on which the boss 4b moves in slidable ways, a slide surface for the boss 4b is formed at the position on the radius A from the of a circle having a center C which is set in eccentricity by DELTAA from the center B of the shaft 7, and a penetration hole 6a for a screw 8 is formed. Therefore, when the screw 8 is loosened, the cam 6 runs idle with respect to a bearing 5, and revolves integrally with the stay 2. While, when the cam 6 is fixed onto the bearing 5 by means of the screw 8, the boss 4b moves in slidable ways on the inner surface of the cam 6. |
