PURPOSE:To enable to speedily replace a heating cylinder, by a method wherein a liftable body having a prescribed lowering limit and provided at a lower part thereof with an engaging part for a suspending part of a heating cylinder fitting block is supported by a traveling body placed on rails fixed to a building. CONSTITUTION:Rollers 22, 22 of the traveling body 23 are made to roll on the rails 21, 21 fixed to the building, the traveling body 23 is stopped at a position immediately upstream of an injection molding machine 41, the liftable body 26 is lowered and is stopped at a position determined by a stopper 28, and the traveling body 23 is moved forward, whereby the engaging part 29 is engaged to the suspending part 30 of the heating cylinder fitting block 15. When the liftable body 26 is lifted up by releasing the engagement of the block 15 with an injection blacket 12 and a threaded shaft 17, the block 15 is disengaged, and is then fed to a stand-by position by moving the traveling body 23. Subsequently, a spare heating cylinder fitting block is fitted to the injection molding machine 41 in the reverse sequence. Accordingly, a heating cylinder unit can be replaced stably and speedily, and operating efficiency can be enhanced. |
