Ultraviolet curable silicone coating compositions comprise a suitable amount of bis-(aryl)iodonium salt of the following formula to initiate the ultraviolet curable reaction of (a) pre-crosslinked dialkyl epoxy end polydialkyl-alkyl epoxy siloxane copolymer intermediate and (b) polyorgano siloxane silicone intermediate. (a) has the viscosity of 10-10,000 cps. at 25≦̸C. X=S6F6, AsF6, PF6, or BF4. R=alkyl, haloalkyl or C4-20 organo radical selected from their mixture. n = an integer of 1-5.
