PURPOSE:To make the occupied space of a suspension reducible, by installing the lower end of a strut in the vicinity of an axle setting part of a radius rod attaching an axle to the tip, while also installing the rear end of a plate body whose front end is supported by a car body. CONSTITUTION:A radius rod 1 is equipped with an axle 2 at its tip, while the axle 2 is pivotally fitted with a rear wheel 3. In addition, the base end of the rod 1 is supported on a bracket 4 secured tight to a car body by means of a shaft 5. The lower end of a strut 6 is installed in close vicinity to the setting part of the axle 2 of the said rod 1, while the rear end of a plate body 9 whose front end is supported by the car body via a bracket 7 and a shaft 8 is installed in the same manner. And, both sides of the rear wheel 3 are positioned right with the said rod 1 and then positioning for top and bottom and regulation around a longitudinal shaft of the rear wheel take place with the strut 6. Likewise, positioning for front and rear and regulation around a vertical shaft take place with the plate body 9. With this, the occupied space of a suspension member can be reduced. |
