PURPOSE:To obtain ferromagnetic powder with a good dispersibility and, if it is metal or alloy of the metal, a corrosion resistant property easily by processing the ferromagnetic powder by specified compounds. CONSTITUTION:Ferromagnetic powder is treated by compounds shown in general formulae ( I ) or (II). In the formulae, X<1> represents a saturated or unsaturated alkyl radical with 1-30 carbon atoms or a subtituted or non-substituted aryl radical with 3-30 carbon atoms, and R<1> represents an alkyl radical with 1-5 carbon atoms, a substituted or non-substituted aryl radical with 6-15 carbon atoms or a hydrogen atom. A and A' represent a hydrogen atom, an alkaline metal, an alkaline earth metal or alike. Z means the same as X<1> or the like, while Q a nitrogen atom or a carbon atom, R<2> an alkyl radical with 1-5 carbon atoms, and (n) an integer 0-4. X<11> represents an acyl radical with 1-20 atoms or the same as X<1>. |
