PURPOSE:To enable to circulate air after cleaning contaminated indoor air by a method wherein a contaminating substances removing device is equipped with a filter, an absorbent layer, an oxidizing catalyzer layer and a heat generating body heating the absorbent and the catalyzer layer. CONSTITUTION:Gas is sucked from an inlet (a) and is passed through an air cleaning tank, an inlet (d) of a discharge pipe, a shutter 15' and a discharge port 16', then, is discharged to open air. In this case, heaters 11 for an absorbent and a catalyzer are fed with electricity and heat to rise temperatures of the absorbent and the catalyzer to predetermined temperatures thereof, thereby, contaminating substances being adhered to the absorbent is separated from the absorbent. Inflamable substances among the separated substances are oxidized by an oxidizing action of the catalyzer and are made harmless and odorless. Thus, contaminated indoor air may be circulated after cleaning by utilizing the absorbent and the oxidizing catalyzer because a life of the absorbent may be elongated by heating and reproducing the absorbent before the absorbent is attained to an absorbing limit thereof. |
