PURPOSE:To attain quick and accurate search function with a simple constitution, by shifting a pickup by a distance based on the distance data between a radius of a present position and a radius of an objective position. CONSTITUTION:Position calculating circuits 158, 159 calculate the radius on a disc 140 corresponding to an absolute address. Each radius data is subtracted at a subtraction circuit 160, an output of the subtraction circuit 160 is a distance data between the present position and the objective position of a pickup 142 and applied to a kick pulse generating circuit 162. The polarity of the kick pulse is decided based on the polarity signal from a subtraction circuit 163 at the polarity inverting circuit 167 and applied to an adder circuit 148. The kick pulse is applied to a pickup feed motor 143 via a feed motor control circuit 149 and a switching circuit 150 after being applied to the adder circuit 148, the pickup 142 is shifted for several tracks' share and reaches the objective position. |
