PURPOSE:To attain the copying with high quality and character reading with high accuracy, by fitting plural optical fibers to a tube wall of a section to be measured of an exposure lamp, in a dimmer of a lamp of a copying machine or an optical character reader. CONSTITUTION:Photodetector end faces of plural optical fibers 4 are fitted close up tightly to tube wall of a section 3 to be measured of a lamp 1 by using an attachment 5. The contamination of the part due to toner, etc. in case of a copying machine or paper powder in case of an optical reader, and fine dust is prevented completely, the luminous quantity of light of a lamp is detected accurately and the control of the quantity of light is attained accurately. |
