PURPOSE:To reduce the service response time, by identifying whether or not a calling extension telephone and an extension telephone having an incoming call belong to the same pickup group, so as to prevent the deterioration in the complexity of the operation and malfunction of dial. CONSTITUTION:In take up a handset with a button of a BETi depressed, a calling signal and a button signal are generated from the BETi and the synthesis signal is transmitted to a calling monitor OWD monitoring the calling of an extension telephone fitted with key. The device OWD analyzes the synthesis signal and indentifies that a button signal is included and informs the generation of the button signal to a button signal detector BSD. The device BSD confirms that the BETi belongs to the same pickup group as a BET1, a button signal generated from the BET1 is used, a service data table is indexed at a device BSD, and the pickup of the BETi is indentified and a private branch exchange PBX responds instead of an incoming call to the BETi. |
