A device for removing snow and ice from the roofs of houses consisting of a shovel-shaped device (1) on whose rear and end section (5) the one end of a handle (8) is attached and on whose front and lower section there is hinged, threaded rod (13) that passes through a drilled hole in the handle (8). In order to adjust the distance between the end section (4) and the aforementioned drilled hole in the handle, there are two nuts (14, 15) operating on each side of the handle. The handle (8) is constructed of a number of pipes with threaded sections (9) that can be joined together so that it acquires a length that it can be operated from the ground or from a scaffold under the roof.<IMAGE> |
