PURPOSE:To achieve a sharp reduction in the transmission of vibration by providing a fixed casing, which has a hollow chamber and whose one side in the up and down direction is opened, and a movable resistance plate inserted in the hollow chamber, and filling a viscous body of high viscosity in the hollow chamber so as to be hermetically sealed. CONSTITUTION:A relative displacement in the A direction is caused on the engine mounting device 1 by the rolling of an engine or the unevenness of road surfaces. By the relative displacement, a rubber block 2 is subjected to shearing deformation, which operates a viscous shearing resistance generating device R integrally fitted to the mounting device 1. In the viscous shearing resistance generating device R, a relative displacement is caused between a fixed casing 9 on the vehicle body side and a movable resistance plate 17 on the engine side which is inserted into the hollow chamber 6 of the fixed casing 9 so as to keep minute clearances S between the wall surfaces of the hollow chamber. In the minute clearances S, a viscous body 19 of high viscosity is filled up, herein viscous shearing resistance force is caused to attenuate low frequency vibration. |
