PURPOSE:To avoid storage of a large amount of cash within a cashbox, by giving a display and an alarm when the cash stored in the cashbox exceeds a prescribed amount. CONSTITUTION:An operator carries out successively the sales processing when the setting is over with an informed amount of money. The amount in the sales data is summed up and stored in a cash sales amount totalizing area 103, a present cash amount storing area 106 and a total sales amount storing area 104 respectively. At the same time, the present cash amount is compared with the informed amount which is previously set. Based on the result of comparison, a signal is transmitted to an alarm 4m when the present cash amount exceeds the informed amount. Thus a buzzer tone, etc. is generated. |
