PURPOSE:To provide a heat storage material having a m.p. well suited for storing solar energy and also high latent heat, by incorporating a specific addn. compd. CONSTITUTION:A heat storage material which contains an addn. compd. CH3CO2Na.HCONH2.3H2O yielded by mixing CH3CO2Na.3H2O with HCOHN2 in a molar ratio of 1 to 1. Said material has a m.p. between 40 deg.C and 45 deg.C and an extremely high latent heat of 60Cal/g or above, and therefore it is well suited for storing heat energies such as solar energy. |
