<p>PURPOSE:To classify according to a color a pattern that hardly discloses a distinct difference when only a monochromatic light source is used by the pattern separated for each wave length by obtaining reflected light or absorbed light of each color to synthesize. CONSTITUTION:An object to be transported 1 passes between a light emission diode 3 and a phototransistor 4. The timing of arrival of the object to be transported 1 is indicated by a timing pulse sent from a timing generating circuit 11. Then, the object 1 passes between the light emission diodes 5, 7, 9 of red, green and blue color respectively and the photodiodes 6, 8, 10. An electric signal corresponding to the pattern of each color is sent to a waveform synthesis conversion discriminating circuit 12. The pattern is analyzed to detect the presence of the transported object 1.</p> |
