PURPOSE:To prevent oscillation, by providing separately a circuit for charging and that for discharge for the purpose of high voltage residual prevention, in a high voltage residual preventing device of a cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 9 is charged through a diode 12 when a power supply is applied and the charge in the capacitor 9 is discharged through a diode 10 when the powder supply is disconnected. A diode 10 or 12 is conducted by the voltage fluctuation at a terminal 2 at the normal state, but a unidirectional current only flows to a series circuit comprising resistors 8, 11 and the capacitor 9, then no oscillation takes place. |
